thanks for the reply. My husband has had oral hsv-1 since he was a kid and gets outbreaks every year. As for the person who gave me hsv-1 he had the oral herpes since he was a little kid and gets outbreaks frequently as well. He gave me this through one episode of oral and we never had sex. He was a virign also.. Funny how a virgin can give you an STD.
