building bicep peak

I have been lifting consistently now for nearly a year with a personal trainer. I have noticed a great improvement in my body and in the thickness of my arms.
I do not notice any peak in my bicep and wondered what I can do to get more definition,so, when I got to flex my bi's I see some results.

Any advice, be it eating, or specific arm exercise advice is greatly appreciated. Also, does the amount of weight I use matter?
