any September 2010 mommies?

Hey Ladies - just wanted to see if there are any September moms out there? I know it's a little early! I just found out on Sunday and I'm already feeling odd - very tender breasts, random minor cramps, clear discharge and very fatigued! Thankfully I haven't been sick yet, with my first I was terribly sick for the first trimester. She is 2.3 now and she was born in September too, so I'm a september mommie all over again! Right now I believe I'm about 5 weeks and I have my first appointment 1/29!

I'm interested to hear if there are any other sept moms out there and what your experincing symptom wise!

Have a great day!

Re: any September 2010 mommies?

Hi! I just found out on Saturday that I will be a September Mommy too! This is my second child, my DS is 2.5 years old now. We are so very excited and were so lucky that we did it on the first try again. I have to say I am WAY more nervous this time around about this pregnancy going ok. According to my calculations my EDD is Sept 19th but we'll see what my Dr says when I have my 1st appt next week.
Looking forward to going through this with all you other sept mommies out there.

Talking Re: any September 2010 mommies?

hey there ladies. how funny my first is 2 years and 4 months old. and i am now expecting #2. i am estimated sometime in September, but i could be an August mommy. not sure yet until ultrasound.

what do you guys think?

stopped pill on day before Thanksgiving

had major cramping 1st week of December so took hpt on the 10th and was negative. So i called doc he said lets do an ultrasound to make sure no cysts.

went for ultrasound on 15th of December and tech said all healthy no signs of pregnancy and uterin lining was bery thin.

30th of December positive hpt! I have no idea when i conceived I just hope I am not too far along because i did some drinking at Christmas.

ultrasound tomorrow. i will let you know what they estimate. maybe we will be mommies together!

Hello Ladies,

It looks like I am joining you!! I am not sure exactly of my due date but it will be later in September. I have three boys already. My oldest is 13, middle son is 10 1/2 and the youngest is 4. I am hoping for a girl but I won't be surprised if it's another boy. I love my boys so much so another will be easy plus I still have all my baby stuff, including clothes, toys etc. I just want a healthy baby. I'm in a bit of shock still as I just found out yesterday. AF was due Tuesday but I had all these symptoms and did a test yesterday. I was expecting a BFN as DH had a VS about 3 years ago or so but instead it was a BFP. We were both very surprised but I know it can happen. We are doing much better today with the news. I look forward to taking this journey with you all

Sarah

Re: any September 2010 mommies?

Thank you jstin! Yes it would! You are two weeks ahead of me exactly. I am 5 weeks as of today. That I know for sure according to my LMP. What symptoms are you having? I feel nauseus almost all the time and when I'm not nauseus I just don't feel like eating. I do not like this at all! My back is also killing me (although this morning it seems to be better!) which I had with my last son. I also tend to get dizzy as well as light headed.

Congrats to all you September ladies!

Sarah

Re: any September 2010 mommies?

I only know my becuase the ultrasound. but i was also keeping track of our activity since i stopped the pill. I have had AF since 2006 when I conceived my son. It has been wonderful not to see my friend every month, but i really wanted to have a healthy cycle or two before i conceived.

I am having terrible morning sickness. i am not holding much down but i feel very hungry. the hunger started at the end of week 5. morning sickness is supposed to be in full swing at week 7. i felt it at 6 weeks.

i hope you feel better and are able to eat something.

my back hurts two. strangly i wonder is if is from the epidural with #1. shooting tingling pain.

maybe were just old....lol. I am 32 but i wonder what it would have been like to have my kids in my twenties.

I know how you feel Jstin about not seeing the friend every month. I am looking forward to not seeing it for a while!

I am hungry as well but the nausea keeps most food at bay. I talked to the administrator at our midwife clinic as I am hoping to get in there and she said I could be further along than I think or not to scare me but multiples. I hope it's just that I am further along! I know my back pain is from the epidural from my first pregnancy. I have heard many women complain of back pain after having one.

Maybe we are just old LOL I am 33 but I will be 34 when this one arrives. I had my first when I was 20 1/2 and let me tell you that it was a lot easier on my body than when I was pg with my third and even now. I feel like my body is falling apart! HAHA!

I was feeling a bit better late yesterday afternoon. I hope you can hold more down in the coming days. Morning sickness is no fun at all! I didn't have it with my first at all. Oh how nice that was!

I found out I am due September 17th but I guess my first U/S will tell me for sure.

Re: any September 2010 mommies?

hey kewlgirl - no systems yet? congrats on your first

I think for those of us that waited to have babies at least we don't know the difference in how much easier it is in your twenties.

As for you Estoria- you know first hand it was much easier at 20. it is a bit early to have any systems besides tiredness. your hcg shouldn't be high enough yet to make you sick. i would find multiples hard to imagine since your dh had his procedure there should not have been two much sperm. then again your egg could have split!

let us know after your ultrasound

jstin - I do have some symptoms. Some nausea (not at all bad - yet), very tired, swollen breasts, always hungry.

Re: any September 2010 mommies?

hey kewlgirl - i remember that i had a horrible time with my breast with my first pregancy. in fact that is what led me to believe i should take a test in the first place. my boobs felt like they were going to jump off my chest. this time around there is not so much sensitivity. they are swollen but i am not in as much pain

well girls - we have a couple of months of this. good luck!

Re: any September 2010 mommies?

Count me in ladies! I just got my BFP on Friday and I'm cautiously optimistic. I had a m/c before my DS was born so I am trying to contain all my emotions until I am able to see or hear my bean. I don't really have any symptoms yet seeing how I am only 4 weeks. DS is almost 15 months so he will be 23 months when the baby arrives. Whew......am I crazy?? Here's hoping for a healthy and happy 9 months for us all!

Re: any September 2010 mommies?

Welcome to everyone!!! I am so excited to have my first Dr appointment this afternoon. I think it will help this seem more real. It totally keep forgetting I am pregnant being so busy with work and with my 2 year old son. My boobs were quite sore at first not to the touch but deep inside the tissue. that has subsided and now my nipples are quite tender. I am starting to get a tiny bit queesy in the mornings and since I am only 5 weeks right now I am thinking that could still get a bit worse before it gets better.
Take care everyone!
