Hi, my name is Katie and as of tomorrow I am 10 weeks along. I am due August 20th, 2010 with my first baby! We have been trying for years and now after doing IVF my husband and I are expecting our first! We are so excited. I was hoping to find some August moms on here to share our journeys.

Katie- It's me Sandy, Hope you are well. I was going to start a auguat group but you beat me to it!! How are things coming along? I had my 1st OB appointment today and all is well, baby is growing and I had 3/4d ultrasound and they made me a dvd since my hubby was not there so he can see and hear the baby!!! It was really cool!! I think it is finally hitting me that this is REAL!! We are making the big announcement on Saturday to all of out friends and famliy since I will be 12 weeks along. Have you guys made the announcement yet? So glad to see you on here. cant wait to hear from you.

Hey Sandy! How's it going? You been feeling good and everything going well? That is awesome that you got a 3D and ultrasound! I had my first OB yesterday as well. All is good. Got to officially hear the heartbeat which was awesome! However i've been spoiled with my specialist because I got an ultrasound every time with her and I'll only get one with my OB and that is the 20 week one. Kinda disappointing. There is a place nearby I plan to go to though that will do a 4D and DVD that we can and will pay for.

As for everything else I'm doing good. Still tired but not as sick. I think it was all that progesterone! We have started to tell a few people but we won't let the cat out of the bag completely until the 12 week mark as well.

Katie- Hope you are doing well. Yes it was fun making the announcement over the weekend!! I am doing fine my appetite is coming back finally and I stop taking the baby aspirin on Saturday so will not have anything more meds to take except prenatal vit and I am doing colas every other day or so since the prenatal are a bit harsh on my system!! How are you doing this week..and when are you going for you 3d scan? I know we are very spoilt are the specialty office since we have a scan every time and now it’s only every other time or so...it suck!! Well have a good week and keep me posted!! Sandy

Hi Katie and Sandy. Just wanted to pop by to see how you are doing. I am so excited for you both! Do you have u/s coming up? Will you find out the sex of the baby? Just curious! Take care.

CBB- Thanks for checking in! How are you doing? HAve you found out what you will be having? I am going to find out for sure...have a couple more weeks till I can find out. You must be in your 2nd trimester already, I am starting on Saturday, I cannot beleive it time has gone by so fast. Other than that I am keeping well. Keep in touch.

Katie- Hope all is well on your end. Have not heard from you in awhile. Keep us posted and take care of yourself.

Hi ladies. Sorry I have been browsing on here but too lazy to post

. I'll blame it on pregnancy. I'm doing great. Tomorrow I am officially tweleve weeks. We have already told everyone. It makes it so much more real to me that way. And like you too I will be finding out what we are having. Can't wait. I'm way too much of a planner! Case in point - I think I'm buying the furniture for the baby's room this weekend already! Now I just need to get past the overwhelm of everything else you need to get! Lol.
