Re: November babies?

I haven't had any spotting but I've been extremely tired, and just generally feel unwell. I haven't been sick yet either, knock on wood. I agree, everything smells so gross! And things taste funny too! Is this your first Scooby?

Re: November babies?

So how is everyone doing? We have another U/S tomorrow morning so maybe it will seem more real then. My wife and I have both been very guarded with this pregnancy for some reason. I am sure it is finding out in kind of a surprising way, so hopefully seeing something more than a black dot will help.

Re: November babies?

Well we had another U/S this morning to check on our little one. Since last week they only saw a sac they wanted to make sure we had something inside, so we got our first glimpse at our little one. Heart was just fluttering away at 132 bpm. Measured on track and was doing great!

Re: November babies?

We had our first appt with our midwife on Monday. We didn't do much she tried to listen for the heart beat, but said it was too early without an ultrasound. As I am only 8 weeks and my uterus is still bellow my pelvic bone. Our next appt is in 3 weeks and we should definitely hear it then! I've been pretty sick for the last two weeks but I've been taking ginger pills and drinking ginger tea and that seems to help some. I'm now wearing wrist bands that are supposed to help with the nausea too. I guess they must be because I've had it under control for almost a week. (knock on wood) Nothing sounds good to eat anymore. How's everyone else feeling?

Re: November babies?

Congratulations Cookie!! That's awesome, how are you feeling? Were you surprised to hear you're having twins?? Twins run in our families so I'm waiting for my first ultrasound May 10th.

Re: November babies?

kcgage: i'm actually feeling pretty well, just really sore breasts. otherwise, barely any nausea! we measured about 6 and a half weeks, so we still have a while to go before that all changes. i just had that "mothers intuition" since we found out we were pregnant. my husband swore at our 5th week ultrasound that he saw 2 sacs, and my mom swore on our 6th week ultrasound that she saw 2.. then the doctor called us this afternoon and confirmed it - so it was a shock to say the least, but we all had an inkling

Re: November babies?

That's great that you've been feeling so well. When is your due date? Do you have twins in the family? I've had a nagging feeling for a few weeks now about twins but I guess I'll have to wait and see

Re: November babies?

twins do not run on either side of our family. it must have just been the clomid we were on! thats the only way i can explain it! i'm due around thanksgiving, i'll get an exact date when i see an OB in the next few weeks. i'm just being seen by the hospital's outpatient center for right now until we get the heartbeat, hopefully next week

Re: November babies?

Congrats Cookie! My wife had yet another U/S yesterday after more spotting and some pain. Baby looked good, measuring right ar 7 weeks 2 days, with a heart rate in the 150s, so all looked good.
