Re: Throat Feeling
If it continues for a few weeks, it may be the form of acid reflux in which the acid rises out of your esophagous and into your throat, causing, not heartburn, but larygopharyngeal reflux - the most common symptoms are yours - the feeling of a lump or something stuck in your throat. The other 3 most common symptoms are chronic cough, difficulty swallowing, and sinusitis-like problems.
If it is acid reflux, you will need 2 PPIs per day. A PPI is an acid -reducer, called a Proton-Pump Inhibitor. Larygopharyngeal reflux (LPR) is best treated by the brand name Nexium.
But if you've only had this a week, I'd give it another week to resolve before seeking treatment.
