When I suffer bouts of IC, I do not have frequent urination. My symptoms are extreme bladder and genital pain (it actually feels like I have a binder clip attached to my southern parts (OUCH!). I take prelief tablets, 1/2 tsp of baking soda in a glass of water 3x per day, and use emu oil for the external pain. This condition is really a nuisance!
