Hi Glojer!
I am still trying to work out Ambien, but I do well on it. The first time I wasn't expecting the strong, quick effect on an empty stomach. Then I talked in my sleep at a hotel w/ family and it bothered me. So I tried other things (excedrin pm, 2 zanax) and I was up all night w/hangover.
So, I warned my not so supportive husband to deal w/nighttime grogginess and snoring or I can't sleep.
It hasn't failed me on going to sleep yet. But 4 yr old woke me up at 2:30 and kept me up for awhile and I was hungover for an hour this morning.

I like Ambien!
