I would suggest you go the Florida State Department of Health website. At the top of the homepage you can pull down a subject list and select Practioner/physician profiling. This is a state government website. You can find out is the physician licensed in Florida, education, lawsuits filed against them, etc. Every time I go to a new doctor in Florida I go here to check them out. It won't tell you everything but it is a good starting place.
