Post In conclusion

I'm starting a new post cause the other one is getting too long.
My original purpose in posting here was to impart the information that there is a lot of NEW INFORMATION on thyroid these days and some of it links FM to thyroid problems. Some of this NEW INFORMATION deals with the unreliablity of the TSH test and numbers that go along with it. I started asking you all about your TSH numbers just to see where you stood on this. Only one person even knew his/her TSH number. This implies to me that maybe you haven't heard of this NEW INFORMATION. A couple of you said you had been treated for thyroid years ago and felt sicker. Yes you will feel worse before you feel better. And years ago (and still today if you don't find a Dr. that knows this NEW INFORMATION)they mostly undertreated and so you would feel worse. They have NEW INFORMATION on this also.
If you really really really want to know if it is your thyroid or not, have a TRH test.
It is THE difinitive test for thyroid.
Any newbees interested in this thyroid information, please ask at the thyroid board.
There's a couple of "cured" FMers there.
Just hoping this helps at least one of you.
