Could be a kidney infection. Could be something worse. If there's blood in her urine, that's a sign that something really serious is going on. I don't know what your friend has, but she needs to get to a doctor right away. If she can't get to the dr today, then get her to the ER. This shouldn't be fooled around with or ignored.
