| Re: tests for sarcoidosis???
He had a ct scan done last november where they found "multiple nodules scattered throughout both lungs" all too small to be biopsied by a bronchoscopy or needle aspiration. I guess what they wanted to do was a Vats. But what happens is my husband had cancer 11 years ago and the doctors immediatly thought that this is a metastesis of the previous cancer and sent him to the oncologist because "there was nothing they could do" in terms of surgery. But my husband decided he won't go to any oncologist because they only deal with chemo and radiation and he won't do that.
It's been 10 months and he has been doing fine, working, taking care of the yard, etc. But occasionally he has tightness in the chest, and since almost 3 weeks ago when the weather went very hot and humid he has this sense of asthma (which he has all his life). It is not really an attack, just it is almost always there.
I think he could have sarcoidosis because he has the rashes on the shins, chest and back. And I'm hoping I can find real people telling me what kind of symptoms one has with sarcoidosis. Besides the rashes that come and go, he has the chest tightness, asthma, a mild cough that comes and goes, joint pains, restless legs.
Is your breathing so bad that you can't work? I'm sorry about that.
I would appreciate if you could tell me what kind of respiratory symptoms you have so I can tell him "that at least one person has symptoms like yours".
Thank you
