I'm sorry I can't answer your questions but just want to let you know you are not alone. I am in my early 60's & seeing a specialist this week. I am dreading my colonoscopy. I'm a big old coward. Your mom sounds like a brave person or at least she is being one for you. The waiting is horrible. I'm wishing the best for your mom. Keep us posted.
