I am so sorry that you both are suffering so badly. I have been dealing with this for about 7 months now - it is AWFUL.... Mine is mostly centered around breathing problems which they say are caused by GERD/Acid and maybe asthma??? I have had over 13 Drs. appointments in the past 7 months... I have lost over 20 pounds, I do not sleep well and am a NERVOUS WRECK.....

Are either of you taking PPI's? I tired (4) different kinds and had too many side effects. I have tried modifying my diet, etc. NO HELP THERE.....

Next step is an Upper GI and tissue samples - also I have a hiatal hernia - they may have to repair that but want a closer look first.

Have either of you been scoped?
