For POTS? Some people recover, it depends on what caused their POTS. Those who get it after a viral infection, for example, tend to have a better chance at recovery. Those who have it secondary to another health problems, such as thyroid problems, can usually get the POTS under control once the initial health problem is treated and controlled.
Those who have gradual onset, connective tissue disorders, autoimmune cause, have the hyperadrenic form, or other things that have caused damage to the autonomic nervous system/vagus nerve tend to take a lot longer to get better, if they ever do. Most just hope to get their symptoms under control.
