Wow! You are so far advanced - I can't believe that you can actually walk w/o assistance (cane, crutches, etc.) and wear dress shoes to boot! Good for you!

I do hope that someday I’ll be back in my Manolo’s. As much as I deplore athletic shoes (unless I’m playing tennis or working out) I welcome anything other than this cast.

I am ten weeks out and I still have a cast on, it’ll come off at 12 weeks.

I think that it does take many months for the swelling to subside - I’m sure that Sunny77 will be able to give you some insight.
