Indy,

I am now 8 months post OATS, although autograph, and I used the Aircast machine for the 12 weeks NWB period. It worked well, however it didn't do as great a job as gel icepacks did ... you'll come home with a splint until your stitches are out and then put in a cast so it takes something pretty strong to get the cold through the splint then the cast. It came in more handy once the cast was off and I was just in the boot and able to remove it to ice for the 6 months + you'll be swollen afterwards.

Good luck! It's a major surgery and recovery is tough, but at least you won't have the knee recovery to deal with as well.
