Re: Scaphoid Surgery Recovery time
Well I broke my wrist in October, and went to see a doctor in March lol. Initially after my break I had no range of motion whatsoever, but with conditioning I regained most if not all of my range and thought everything was better. Because of this I assumed it was a sprain, but after the pain didn't go away for months I went and got X-Rays. Because of the low blood supply to the scaphoid bone it often times doesn't heal well after a break, and because of the length of time in between the injury and my X-Rays, surgery was my only option. It didn't take any time at all to decide on surgery, just which type of surgery. I opted for a bone graft and screw and everything seems to be going well.
