My DD was the same way. I bough Nuby cups with the soft nipple on them from walmart and she took to them well. I used them for milk and the harder cups for juice. I did that up until she figured out that she could turn the Nuby over, bang it on any surface (including her own body) and milk would spray out. This was great fun. Good luck!
