Ive had several EMGs done as well....some people say it hurts briefly, like a bee sting- no one I know has said it was too terrible. For me, it didnt hurt at all either.
Yes, you get the results right away and yes, it will say if the nerves are functioning properly....and no, if you arent having symtoms at the time of the test, it wont affect the test results. Youll still have your answers. So, good luck!!
