Re: I have SFN - Do You? #2

Will, am appreciating you posting progress reports on your switch to Savella. I know early on in my SFN I kept a daily journal of my pain and response to meds. If I didn't do this, a month or two later the sequence of what affects what would have gotten all muddled in my head. If the Savella is successful, will you be just substituting one med, Savella, for another, Nortriptylin? And, was the dryness the main side effect of Nortriptylyn you are trying to avoid? How is the dryness during this trial period? I ask because I started having dry mouth just before I started with SFN symptoms and didn't realize at the time it was a medical condition, which I now realize is likely related to the whole SFN syndrom. My meds haven't made the dry mouth any worse. How is the vitamin D and B-complex trial going? Sorry for pestering you with so many questions, but all the info you and others on this thread provide is so helpful in trying to understand SFN. Thanks Will and hugs to all. - Ruby
