Hi,
The sciatica pain I have is on the outside of my hip and down my leg and down the back of my leg, I don't have it on the inside. I use massage because I can't take medications for pain and it loosens up my tight muscles since I get massage weekly.

I think it would be a good idea to go back and see your surgeon or your back pain specialist and ask these questions.

Also, do you have osteoporosis?
