I have a question about a growth in my inner thigh that’s been there since I was about 12 years old (I’m 39 now).

It is a dark brown sack-like growth. It’s small; about the size of a pencil eraser. It hasn’t caused me any trouble or changed size or shape in any noticeable amount, although it is in a hard-to-see place. About a year ago, I tried pricking it with a pin hoping some fluid would drain out as with a pimple, and maybe it would dry up. All that came out was a very small amount of blood. It hurt to do this, although not as much as if I had poked my skin directly with the pin. It didn’t shrink or dry up, although now (a year or so later), I’ve been getting some irritation when the edge of my briefs rub against that spot, which is what prompted me to ask about this.

Does anyone have a clue as to what this thing is, based on my description?
