Doctor Needed in Colorado for OCD of Talus

Hi All,

I have been identified with a 13 x 8 mm osteochondral lesion of the talus. I live in Colorado Springs and am wondering if anyone out there has found a good surgeon in Colorado? I'm not sure if I'm going to need OATS or microfracture - my podiatrist seems to think microfractrue. I need to get a second or third opinion and I'd like it to be from the person that will do the cutting.

I'm a 53 year old, male ultrarunner and would sure like to run again someday.

Please share any experiences that you may have had with this procedure in Colorado, along with the doctors you recommend (and who to avoid!)

Thanks!
Jerry
