Thanks for the reply. I definitely know what you mean about being grateful just to walk. I was grateful to walk after the 5 weeks of NLB on crutches. I try to remind myself of that everyday, just to be grateful.
It's a tough time of year with all my friends signing up and running the events I love. But I take consolation in having been blessed to do what I did. Nonetheless, I would like to at least have a shot at a 'farewell tour' of my favorite events. Events like Leadville and Bighorn. On the other hand, a 3-4 mile run twice a week sounds like heaven!
I am very thankful to have found this site. I found it through another ultrarunner - the only one I know of that has successfully returned to ultrarunning after an OCD injury and microfracture.
