| Re: Am I going mad or is this Lupus.
Hi Bootsy,
I just received my diagnosis today. I have lupus, fibromyalgia and sjogrens syndrome. It took awhile to get the diagnosis and I am surprised I have any blood left with all the vials they've been taking to narrow it down. Before my diagnosis they thought I had carpal tunnel syndrome because my hands are so weak I can barely pick things up, then it was osteoarthritis, then thoracic outlet syndrome and many more. I've been treated for back, neck and shoulder pain, even getting a breast reduction in the hopes it would relieve my pain. Nothing seems to work but I'm hoping the palequin will because my body hurts all over most of the time and it was hard to tell if it was joints or muscles. My rheumy is treating the lupus first and then we'll address the fibro. I currently don't have any symptoms for the sjogrens. It is a relief to know I finally have a diagnosis but I know I have to put my body first and that means learning to cope with pain and strange symptoms that present themselves at odd times. Good luck getting your answer! Hang in there and know you're not alone!!
