Re: Furniture off gassing

I purchased a brand new furniture set for my four year old in Oct of 2009. After leaving his bedroom window open daily for 10 months, it is still off-gassing. I have had the two representatives from the retailer and one representative from the manufacturer come to my house in the last six months and they all agree that they can't smell anything (and they're in the furniture business). They suggested that I resell the furniture. Thank you very much!!!
Some friends have suggested putting cat litter and baking soda in the room/drawers since these products absorb odors. Has anyone heard of doing that? I'm going to try it.
