Is it acid or something else

About two years ago, I started waking up with some secretions in both my eyes. The discharge would continue throughout the whole day but it intensified from about mid-day on wards. I had a culture of the discharge done and I was told I had a bacteria called gramme positive cocci. I tried all kinds of anti biotics but to no avail. The discharge still comes but now it's not so thick. It's a bit watery and acidic and comes out all the time. There is also a sandy filling in my eyes. All the opthormologists I have see say that there is nothing wrong with my eyes but I should have an infection elsewere. I've tested for auto immune diseases and I was told there is nothing. I even went for a brain scan since I sometimes get this eyeball ache and someone thought it was a brain tumor. There was nothing. I'm 48 years old now and some doctor thought I was aging.
Can anyone help? I've been wearing glasses since I was 15 but now I feel like the sight deterioration is accelarating
