a little bit of history which may be connect ed to recent problems- i had a ear infection a couple of years ago - which was accentuated by flying(i use to fly regularly for work)- after one occassion flying with a bad cold, i had terrible tinnitus - this is when it all started - the cold went in time - the tinnitus got bad, improved , up and down for a few months-during those few months, was on antibiotics from gp who said it was a ear infection, when the tinnitus did not go away after a few months, referred to ent specialist who did various hearing test etc, but nothing wrong apparently - since then - ie 2 years later, the tinnitus is on and off, but never too bad, and last for say 3-4 minutes at a time- however in the last few weeks, i have been getting 'fullness' in my left ear,which does not go away when i try to pop my ears by the 'nose-squezzing' method or swallowing method but does help when i drink water and swallow - the fullness has been increasing- a few times a day now- and sometimes when i get up too fast from sitting down a long while, there is some disorentation- pls help, is it meniures? or a eustachian tube problem? any advice/suggestions gladly embraced
