Hi I would suggest a GI specialist instead since it seems that the GP did an exam which seemed to cause more pain. Some doctors are much more gentle and or more knowledgeable than others. An internet rating might be helpful for this purpose to see how others like them in my opinion.

Has a hand or regular mirror been used both behind and under the body to see if there is anything in the area where it hurts externally?

Have washes and olive oil after BM's been tried?
