Can heart rate increase cause dizziness/faintness/grey outs
Hi everyone, for a few years I've had problems with dizziness upon standing. I grey out which Is where my vision dims, o get nauseated with shortness Of breath and I just feel like I'm going to pass out. With the more severe episodes I'm convinced that I would pass out if I didn't sit down. I'm 14 and they've happened at school and sent me home. They seem to happen when I'm sick or tired. They come in spells; there's periods of time where I get them every time I stand up and periods of time where I don't have them at all. I'm having some GI problems lately going to a specialist for that, but I feel worn out all the time, I randomly have days where I wake up feeling like I got hit by a Mack truck. The other day I wondered if it could be blood pressure so I did a little test. I took my bp while resting then I stood up and took it. Here's the results.
Resting
120/72 pulse of 81
Standing
128/92 pulse of 121
My.bp didn't drop it elevated some but the heart rate caught my eye. Is that much of an increase normal? Can it cause these types of problems? Thanks!
