Just remember that Asperger's is a realitive new diagnoses . So a ot of of older people msy fall into the catorgory of this disorder, they could not of even been diagnosed at a earlier time. If the person is comfortable with his behaviors their is really no reason for a a concrete diagnoses, menaing it would not change him . only label them . And sometimes it is not a good idea to do so. It is not going to open up any new ideas or plans of change.
As for the younger generation, children or young adults this can be benificial to understand them better, and possible have some intervention , especially for the school age population.
It is very true to have a real diagnoses from a professional that is trained to diagnose and offer support.
