Oxycodone is another opioid similar to Dilaudid that is highly active by mouth, very well adsorbed. It is also somewhat longer acting.

It is avaliable by it self as Roxicodone, or with Tylenol as Percacet

It is one of the most commonly prescribed strong painkillers all over the world, and has been in use since the 1920's, so we know that it is safe and it works.
