Newly Diagnosed

Hi,

I am 57 years old and newly diagnosed with Osteoporosis.

Bone Mineral Densitometry

The BMD from L2 to L4 is 0.871 g/cm2, giving a T-score of -1.42.

The BMD in the left femoral neck is 0.56 g/cm2, giving a T-score of -3.65.

OPINION

There is osteopenia in the lumbar spine and osteoporosis in the left femoral neck. The patient is at increased risk for fracture and the ten year fracture risk is high. Follow-up is one year is advised.

***************
Major problem.

Unable to take any meds because of severe allergies and severe sensitivities. NO doctor will give me meds.

Also I have been diagnosed with Sacroiilitis of the right and left SI, worse on the right side. HLA B27+ diagnosed with Anylosing Spondylitis. I have other autoimmune diseases and I am celiac.

I am looking into cushing, Addisons and possibly of Polyglandular Autoimmune syndrome.

I am lactose intolerant, severe sensitivity to UV b rays, and have severe sensitivity to vitiman D. Until I can find out what is causing multiple malabsorption problems. I believe I am up a creak without a paddle.

Hugs

Gerri
