Storing supplements, what does sunlight do to them?
Does anyone know how heat or sunlight can damage supplements in tablet form?
I have asked friends to bring me iron tablets. It turned out that the bottles had travelled about 30 minutes under direct sunlight inside a bag, and then the car was parked under direct sunlight for other 30 mnutes; the heat being more than 40 degree Celcius (104 Fahrenheit).
Do you think the supplement is of no use now? It contains also vitamin C, which might have been depleted from the heat, I guess.
