Malpractice Insurance For Acupuncturists?

I am in California and shopping for malpractice/liability insurance for acupuncturists.

I have come across Healthcare Providers Service Organization (HPSO) based in PA, which is supposedly a division of Affinity Insurance Services Inc, which in turn is under Aon Corp. They claim that their policies are underwritten by the CNA company American Casualty Company of Reading, Pennsylvania (which is a licensed underwriter in CA), but that Affinity/Aon (licensed as agents in CA, not as an underwriter) may also underwrite the policies.

Other than MIEC, there are not very many companies that are licensed at both the underwriter and broker-agent levels in California, and HPSO/CNA/Affinity/Aon seems to be more affordable. American Acupuncture Council is another option, but it is underwritten by Lloyds, which is licensed only as Surplus Lines in CA.

I am wondering if other health professionals have used HPSO/CNA/Affinity/Aon and/or Medical Protective and what they think of it:

What did you think of their customer service?

If and when a malpractice claim arose, did the insurer respond to it? How difficult was it to work with them during the claims process?

How about their level of service for retroactive claims and tail coverage, for when you switched away from them to another company or retired?

Any other malpractice/liabilities insurers that I have not mentioned that you would like to share?

Sorry for the questions and thanks for your time!
