I agree it sure isn't impossible to drop weight at 53 or 63 but it does seem harder. Walking maybe 30 min on your treadmill every day may help you more then just 3 times a week.
Also agree that diet is very important. Cutting out white breads and pasta is a huge help if your into those things. Salads are great but if your pouring great creamy dressing on them your eating lots of fats. Maybe switch to O&V and keep vegies around to munch on when your hungry.
If you have a pool or YMCA close by swim, it's wonderful for the body also. Watch your carb intake and eat good ole chicken without the skin if you can.
