Have finished 1st cycle of chemo but have now been told they won't do the infusion on the next cycle as I had too severe a reaction to it. They worried I'll go into a full blown allergic reaction apparently. Any advice anyone? I'm going in to see the consultant to try and get him to reconsider. I don't care if the reaction is not great, as far as I'm concerned I need that infusion so give it to me damn it!!!
One doctor told me there was nothing else if they didn't do the infusion but the tablets were the main treatment anyway. Nurse specialist told me the consultant could decide to give me something else. I am confused.
