Re: Could I be diabetic?

My feeling is that if I do have, or am developing, diabetes, it is Type 1.5 and not Type 2. Will that make a difference to the overall average? I just don't fit the profile of a Type 2. I have never been overweight, I don't have high cholesterol or high blood pressure, I am physically active, don't have PCOS, or any of the risk factors. I guess my question is this: if it IS LADA instead of Type 2 that is developing, is there really a "pre-diabetic" phase? I mean, wouldn't it then be you either have immune-mediated destruction occurring or you don't? I find the whole "pre" concept confusing if we are not talking about potential reversal of insulin resistance.
