| | Need help reading MRI results - had vertigo for 2 years
Can anyone help with reading these results? I have lost faith in the gazillion docs I have seen in the past two years...been devastating to my life. Lost my job, (was in medical sales for 20 years - now cannot fly, drive long distances, etc) Was in gymnastics for 12 years, wonder if this has any bearing?! Feel too young for this - 47. Thanks in advance for any help!
"There is a loss of signal to the intervertebral discs from the C2-3 through C7-T1 levels secondary to degenerative disc disease. There is mild disc space narrowing C4-5 through c6-7 with mild anterior and posterior marginal spurring at each level. There is no fracture or subluxation. Pedicles and lateral recesses are unremarkable. Mild degenerative facet arthropathy bilaterally throughout the cervical spine. The neural foramina are unremarkable. Mild annular disc bulging with mild spinal canal narrowing c4-5, c5-6 and c6-7. Minimal posterior diffuse disc bulging c3-4. The exam is negative for spinal cord compression or nerve root impingement. Spinal cord and craniocervical junction are unremarkable.
Impression: 1. mild dissuse disc bulging c4-5 through c6-7 being minimal c3-4 and with mild spinal canal narrowing c4-5 through c6-7.
2. Degenerative changes as described."
