I haven't started the nortriptyline yet Louise I am starting tonight but they are very similar so I will let you know. The side affects I have heard of are dry mouth, sedation or restlessness and strange dreams. Not too bad compared to a lot of the other migraine mess out there. Hope it works well for you.
