You might want to ask your doctor about Hydroxyzine. For hives, Zyrtec was only so-so for me. Hydroxyzine has been the magic bullet, but it does make me drowsy, as it is a hypnotic. This might be good for you, though, as it will not only stop the hives, but also cause your body and mind to relax a bit. Take it right before bed and drink some coffee in the morning, and it is not so bad. It is worth it to me, anyway, to never have to worry about hives
