That doesn't make much sense to me. You can have both ADHD and anxiety. My daughter does, along with Asperger's. If the prozac and mood stabilizers were working, then the ADHD should have improved as well if in fact anxiety was causing ADHD symptoms.
I would suggest you get a second opinion, or ask your doc to do a trial of either Intuniv or a stimulant in addition to the meds you are using. My dd just began high school and believe me, he will need to be as stable as possible to make the adjustment. Keep trying things until you find something that works better!
