Re: Hypopituitarism/Empty Sella

I had an MRI 10 years ago (looking for MS) and the radiologist saw a partially empty sella and said it was generally of no significance and there was no MS. Had a recent MRI of the pituitary and the readiologist said it was fine but the Endocronologist saw the partially empty sella.

You should probably have a full pituitary workup plus the other hormones such as Testosterone, Estrogen, Cortisol, and Thyroid. Also, there are tests to show if the pituitary is sending the right signal to the gland such as TSH for thyroid.

It is possible that your thyroid is also not working fully do to its own problem.

Good luck.
