Hello. I am 35 and have been suffering from DDD and disc problems in my neck for 9 years now. Took me this long to find a regular doc that would listen to me. Had a consultation with a neurosurgeon last week (2nd time seeing him and needed a updated MRI) and disc between C5 &C6 is bulging into my spine a decent amount (which explains all of my new "symptoms") and told me about anterior cervical fusion. He explained to me all the risks involved, recovery time etc.

HAs anyone else had fusion in their neck and what was your experience? I am 85% going to do this surgery.
