Re: Gallbladder surgery plus liver biopsy

Have no idea about the liver biopsy part but the gb removal is probably the easiest you'll every go thru! You can do a search on here for my posts for more detail but the whole thing lasted 40 minutes - from the time I went under till I woke up in the recovery room. No pain to speak of - pretty sore though. Home by a couple of hours later. Slept most of the day, showered the next and laid around. Went to work for 1/2 day the next and came home at lunch. Napped the rest of the afternoon. Full time back after that. Jogged 2 miles a week after having it out. Some bloating but not much. They managed to get enough of the inflation gas out that I never had the gas pains many do. Ate very low or no fat for about 3 weeks. All well still - 7 years out.
