Please go see a colorectal surgeon. In May it will be 8 years since I had my colon resectioning. I too had Extreme Redundant Colon and suffered with the pains, nausea, vomiting, & having bm's only once a week for years. It will change your life. That is really the only solution that I know of. It is very possible for the colon to twist up and die with this condition, not to mention the strain it puts on all of your other organs. I had severe reflux because part of my colon was pushing up against my stomach. Plus it will make it easier for the doctors to check for polyps in the future to prevent colon cancer. It can be a very painful surgery to go through, but very worth it in the end.
