Question Post-Nissen AND Gall Bladder Removal - reassurance needed I guess!

Good Evening - I have been reading a lot of the threads on the Nissen Fundoplication procedure, but haven't seen anything specific about having both the Nissen & gall bladder removal. I had surgery a week and two days ago and am trying to find someone that had both at the same time. I am experiencing severe diarrhea when I eat, everything runs through me no matter what it is, and I still have a burning feeling in my throat. Does the burning mean that the reflux is still there? I had a LOT of meds and a LOT of tests prior to agreeing to the surgery. My doctor decided to do an ultrasound and found gallstones, so she took that out "while she was in there".

I guess what I am looking for is reassurances that you do eventually begin to feel better. I am so worried that I went through this all for nothing since I still feel mainly like crap. Is it too soon to hope to feel well?
