Re: cpap vs surgery

Renegaderob18 12 years ago when I was 40 years old I found out I had sleep apnea I had a sleep study and it showed that I had 363 apnea. My ear, nose, throat doctor talked about surgery and a few weeks later I had the surgery. after a few weeks I had another sleep study and the outcome wasn't what I wanted. I had 330 apnea and to tell the truth I wouldn't tell anyone to have that surgery. It was painful and the recovery was long. I use a cpap for the past 12 years and about 6 months ago I got a cpap that has a heater with water. It does help. I can't live without it. Good luck....Ken
