Ok so I have a pretty significant bulge of my C5-C6 disc. It is compressing on my spinal cord (still gotta get copy of MRI for myself but havent had a chance). At the last appt month ago I had gotten a neck brace and so my NS asked me if it helped me at all as far as the pain and I said I still had pain when I wore it but it helped so I didnt move it as much. He then said well fusion probably wouldn't help me since the neck brace didnt help the pain. Is that the way it works?? Also he said that the MRI doesnt show nerve compression and the EMG test I had done showed no irritation and so he has no clue why I have issues with my right hand and arm all the time. SO then he is referring me to a physiologist and on the paper he put that my diagnosis is cervical radiculopathy which totally contradicts what he told me.

Have no clue what to think or do right now.
